　　On March 8 a meeting was held to start up the project of ERP was held in the conference room on 20th floor of Shenyang Machine Tool. Nearly 70 persons such as ZHAO Lizhi, Vice-president of Shenyang Machine Tool Group Co., Ltd. XIAO Liwei, General Manager and President of the Numerically-controlled Machine Tool Company that was an experimental unit of the project, Peter Cooper, Executive Director of Oracle in the Asia-Pacific Region that is an advisor of the project, and the ERP Project Team of the Group Company attended the meeting.

　　 With full confidence XIAO Liwei, President and General Manager of the Numerically-controlled Machine Tool Company that was an experimental unit of the project indicated that it was favorable to break traditional and rooted conventions and it tended to accept and implement advanced managerial mode of ERP all the more although the fundamentals of management of the Numerically-controlled Machine Tool Company was relatively weak. Furthermore the Numerically-controlled Machine Tool put forward “S-UP”at the end of last year and appealed to the personnel to fully improve individual quality and meet the requirements actively for the ongoing relocation, reorganization, and reform of the Group Company. And the project of ERP and “S-UP”supplemented each other, which further accelerated the transform for the Numerically-controlled Machine Tool Company to thoroughly remould its management. At last XIAO Liwei solemnly promised on behalf of the personnel of the Numerically-controlled Machine Tool Company that all business operations of the enterprise should follow the requirements of the project of ERP first, the enterprise would do its best to cooperate with the advisor, Oracle, give support to the Project Team of ERP, be worthy of the expectation of the Group Company, and ensure successful implement of the project of ERP!

　　 DONG Lingyun who took charge of the project of ERP for the Group Company indicated that the project of ERP was an important improvement in information and operation flow of Shenyang Machine Tool historically, it was a “technological storming of heavily fortified positions”, and it was hoped that those who attended the meeting would devote themselves wholeheartedly and make great contributions with their ability and wisdom. With great support of the leaders of the Group Company and the Numerically-controlled Machine Tool Company it was guaranteed that the project of ERP of Shenyang Machine Tool would be successfully completed on schedule.

　　 It is reported that overall implementation of the project of ERP of Shenyang Machine Tool is in combination with relocation and reorganization. The period to implement principal part of the project is about 8 months, and it is estimated that it will be completed by the end of October this year.
