 On March 10 the tasks of national plan “863” undertaken by Shenyang Machine Tool Group successfully passed through check and acceptance of the examining group led by the academicians of China Academy of Engineering.
Shenyang Machine Tool Group undertook 3 tasks this time, which were respectively “Researches on Key Technology of Numerically-controlled Lathe Design, Manufacture, and Generality of Control”, “Key Technical Development & Application of Beam Movable Type of Five-shaft Linkage Machining Centers Being Geared to the Needs of Processing Large-sized Plate Work Pieces for Aircrafts”, and “Technical Development & Application of Speedup of Large and Middle-sized Machining Centers”.
GUAN Xiyou, General Manager of the Group Company and GENG Hongchen, President of the Corporation gave a reception to the examining group. The persons in charge of the units that undertook special items of the tasks and chief leaders participated in the acceptance check and report.
