 During Jan. 6 to 7 Shenyang Machine Tool Group held an annual working conference of 2006 at Liaoning Friendship Hotel. General Manager, GUAN Xiyou made an annual report entitled, “Putting forth Effort to Promote Qualitative Change and Accelerating Increase in International Competitiveness”. President CHEN Huiren gave an important speech.
General Manager, GUAN Xiyou briefly reviewed all works during the past year in the annual report. He definitely put forward the subject of development, “putting forth effort to promote qualitative change and accelerating increase in international competitiveness”, and established the working clew, “to quicken structural adjustment, push edition updating, build one center and three large industrial concentrations, change in the direction of attaching importance to quality, level, and benefit, and accelerate increase in international competitiveness.” The business objectives and working act were definitely put forward. All enterprises were requested to pay more attention to independent innovation and increase in research capability, to pay more attention to increase in product quality, to pay more attention to increase international competitiveness, and to take more measures to realize the objectives.
President CHEN Huiren summarized corporate achievements and changes in all its aspects of 2005 in his speech. He owed the enterprise's success to the staff members. He requested the leaders at all levels to fully examine external environment and internal situation of business development at a new and higher historical starting point in order to exactly grasp main direction and key emphasis on work and to seek for new opportunity of development in a constantly changing environment so that they would base themselves upon their duties and gather themselves together to realize the developing objective of 2006 for all enterprises and all fields of professional work to be positive variables of functional growth and optimization of corporate objectives.
The annual conference was presided over by President of the Corporation, GENG Hongchen. The enterprises that made outstanding contributions to all kinds of works of 2005 were rewarded in the conference. The representatives of corporate modes in labor, the representatives of technical backbone, the representatives of distributors, the representatives of management team of Kunming Machine Tool that newly joined in the big family of Shenyang Machine Tool, and the corporate administrators at the higher levels attended the annual conference.
