 As one of the 5th nationwide excellent enterprisers President CHEN Huiren attended on “the activity day of enterprisers”, entitled “Independent Innovation and Scientific Development——Fully Implementing ‘the 11th Five-year Plan’” and was invited to make a speech. In his speech President CHEN Huiren indicated the subject that SMTCL would be an excellent “enterprise citizen”.
President CHEN Huiren indicated that taking the National Science & Technology Conference held before long as a turning point, independent innovation has been in a strategic degree of the national will. At the same time a series of important changes in the nation’s guiding policy of innovative strategy has taken place, among others it is one of the important changes to define and strengthen an enterprise’s principal position in the system of independent innovation. Therefore to build up a new type of enterprises and to really bear the responsibility for technical innovation of principal part have become national responsibility and historical mission for enterprisers of the present age to bear according to overall requirements of scientific development concept and national innovative strategy. It is national responsibility before them to bring the role of principal part of technical innovation into play and build up an innovative country. At last he took the initiative among the nationwide excellent enterprises in combining business objective with national strategy closely, bearing the national responsibility, and being an excellent “enterprise citizen.”
It is reported that 56 excellent enterprisers from different trades throughout the country were commended on the activity day of enterprisers.
